Love List

Today’s Mantra: Open Your Heart

I’m full of love for a lot of things today especially my bed, tissues and honey and lemon hot drinks (throat infection) but over the past week these are the things which come to mind:

Climb ELC (Julian’s Kindy)

Thank you wonderful ladies for looking after my son and showing him love, compassion and kindness. He has learnt so much this year and it is really funny to hear him come out with things I haven’t taught him….asking me if that was a good choice and the “sharing is caring” mantra (that he applies to other children, not himself).

I am especially happy for the make-up day today as we have had a couple of “hairy days” this week…which looked a lot like this….

Goodbyes

Although we hate to say goodbye to people the parties are fun! The kids had a ball at playgroup yesterday crafting away so a big thanks to wonderful Nell who is leaving us for Sydney but who we will stay close to via the wonders of technology. The gorgeous goodbye gift she gave us all will be well used by us sleep deprived Mummies….

Love from a Three Year Old

“Mummy I love you soooooo much.”

“I love you too baby.”

“Mummy can I have more of your heart?”

Awwwww

“Yes baby you can have as much as you like.”

“I love you.” Big hug from my big boy.

Miranda Kerr’s Power Shake

A strange taste sensation of smooth chocolate (thanks to the cocao nibs) and seaweed (spirulina) so not a complete delight but it’s drinkable and the point is that you get all your superfood nutrients in one intense hit. Check it out here.

The water from a young fresh coconut

Half a glass Goats or Almond milk

1 Tablespoon Acai powder

1 Tablespoon Goji Berries

1 Tablespoon Spirulina

1 Tablespoon Raw Cocoa powder

1 Tablespoon Maca Powder

1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds

1 Tablespoon Raw Vegan Protein Powder

Blend and Serve.

Here’s mine from this morning (minus the acai, protein powder and maca as I was out of stock)

Cherry Season

It’s here! Such a great reminder that Christmas is coming. Though my child does resemble the immortal child after his massacre in Breaking Dawn 2 in this pic….not so Christmassy.

Have a wonderful lead up to Christmas and I hoep you are loving not hating the season this year (it can be a very stressful time of year!) xx
